BIBA Medical supported this workshop in the Excel Centre in London. The CX 2025 meeting is a major event in the international calendar in the world of Vascular Surgery.

Here we used the SAM 4.1 Junctional Haemorrhage Control at the groin inserts as task trainers, mounted in the original limited carrier bases developed back in 2019. A group of 20+ international participants applied the steps of direct pressure and then proximal and distal control to the infra-inguinal injury to the common femoral artery. Guided by Consultant Vascular Surgeons, a good proportion were able to insert a shunt and observe its successful flow!
